While out on a trip with the car, got stuck in traffic. Unfortunately that resulted in the car overheating.  Despite running Waterless Coolant it still overflowed.  Coincidently also noticed that the alternator belt was starting to rub through the lower radiator hose.

Have order a replacement part, but shipping time from the US is quite long. So have created a solution using some silicon hose and aluminium tube.  No clearance issue now.

To resolve the overheating issue the viscous fan was replaced with a 17″ electric fan.  No more overheating now 🙂 At some point will look at creating a fan shroud to hold the fan more securely and channel the air.
